Ältere Menschen und ihr Platz in der modernen Wissensgesellschaft
Das Hauptanliegen des Projektes ist die E-Inklusion älterer Menschen der Europäischen Union. Die am Projekt beteiligten Universitäten, Zentren der Erwachsenenbildung, sowie nationale Senioren-Netzwerke sind mit der Weiterbildung von Senioren und Seniorinnen befasst. Der Arbeitsschwerpunkt liegt auf einer E-Eingliederung älterer Menschen in die Wissensgesellschaft und dies wird mit Spezialkursen gefördert. Durch einen intensiven Austausch von Lehr- und Lernerfahrungen und beispielhaften Projekten, wird eine E-Inclusion“ im EU-Raum auf hohem Niveau forciert.
Seniorinnen und Senioren verstehen sich als Teil der Wissensgesellschaft
Ältere Lernende spielen in diesem Projekt eine wichtige Rolle nicht nur weil sie die Zielgruppe der Projektaktivitäten sind, sondern auch, weil ihre Teilnahme einen Beitrag zum Verstehen und Verständnis zwischen den Generationen beiträgt. Das Konzept der Wissensgesellschaft [KS = Knowledge Society] steht für neue Gesellschaft, die über das Netz Lebens- und Lernerfahrungen mit anderen Menschen auf experimentelle Weise teilt. Ältere Menschen müssen in diese neue Gesellschaft aufgenommen werden. Sie sind wertvolle Ressourcen und „Niemand wird zurückgelassen“!
SENIORS in the KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY
The project aims at the e-inclusion of seniors in the European environment. Institutions (Universities of the Third Age, centres for adult education, national seniors networks) taking part in this Learning Partnership are associated with education for older people and want to promote ICT (Informaton-, Communicaion Technologies). The main objective of this project is to exchange best practice and experience in order to achieve an e_ective e-inclusion in the EU region, based on high standards. Senior learners play an important role in this project not only because they are the target group of the courses and project activities, but also because their participation can build a more inclusive and intergenerational society.
The concept of the Knowledge Society [KS] represents the new society that is sharing knowledge in every aspect by using the net. Seniors must be included in this new society. They are valuable resources and „No one is left behind“!
